The simulation originates from two different coloured synthetic oils in the displayed acrylic case, which gets a 5 times per minute motion sequence by the underneath lying seesaw engine. The permanent motion sequence creates a comforting and soothing feeling for the viewer of this object. This feeling can be reinforced by a sound module which accompanies the motion sequence with absolutely realistic noises of moving wave. This sound module can be switched on and off alternatively by an external switch, located almost invisibly on the right side below the high-grade steel case.
